Question Rage Vigor's...?

Finally decided on some wheels for my ZX3. Rage Vigor's, (17" w/ an offset of 40) from Discount Tire. My choice in tire I believe will be Pirelli's, P-Zero Nero M&S, (215/45/17). Anyone have any experience with these rims, and or size combination on thier stock, (non-lowered) ZX3? Any suggestions, recommendations, etc., would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

On a stock ZX3 you'll be fine. The offset shouldnt be a problem with your ride height and tire combo.
Rage wheels seem to hold up pretty well, quite a few people have them on this forum.

one suggestion. If the roads where you live and drive arent that bumpy and dont have many potholes, you might want to consider going with a 215/40/17 profile tire. the 45 height is a bit bigger then your stock size (about 1/2 an inch total). A 40 height will only be a little smaller (.3 inches), and will make your car look lower to the ground.
Good luck with the purchase
Alan

My stock tires are Pirelli's, (P6's & they suck!) at 205/50/16. Also I live in NW CT and most of the secondary roads also suck. So, being that haven't dropped my car yet I thought the 215/45/17 wouldn't look too bad untill I drop the car. I will more than likely go with the SVT suspension swap when that happens.

Rage is Discount Tire budget wheel brand. They are strong but very heavy. I have some for my Miata's snow tires. Here's how much mark up there is on them. I went in for four steel wheels which were going to cost 34.00 each. They didn't have them in stock. They offered me four Rage Breakers regularly sold at 77.00 each for the same price as the steel wheels. Naturally I took them up on the offer. They even threw in new lug nuts since my stock nuts would not fit (the rage required smaller tuner lugs). I'm assuming they had to be making some money or they wouldn't have done it.
