SS Brake Lines

I've heard that some stainless steel brake lines come with a plastic/vinyl wrap around the steel to keep dirt and crap from damaging them, but have no idea what brands come that way. Any ideas?

The plastic coating is primarily there to meet DOT requirements. A raw stainless line can eat through a tire very quickly if it is installed wrong. Any DOT approved line set will have the coating. Most Goodridge brake line sets meet the standards.

Aeroquip invented stainless braided lines and AN fittings. Both companies make great products and are well known in racing circles.
