Unhappy bent rim

i havnt been here in very longg, but now is the time i need you guys again. I was driving last night and hit a pot hole that i never saw..pulled over changed tire blah blah blah. i was wondering if any of you knew of a place were i could get the rim fixed within the day i bring it to them. also they should be within a half hour of freehold NJ. can anyone help me???

depends on how bad its bent. I fixed a rim one time with a rubber mallet. gave a couple of well placed whacks and it was all better. Suprising too in that it was aluminum.

depends how busy a shop is but most likely you will have to wait over nihgt, they have to put the rim in a giant oven and re weld it so it tends to be a lenghty process for the rim to heat up and cool naturaly, I had mine done, well 2 rims, took 2 days, cost 100$, but very excellent job

i just put a little bend in my rim last week. just enough to let the air out of the tire and not hold any air. i took it to a small local shop. the guy heated the bend with a torch, then hit it a couple times with a sledgehammer. not 100% perfect, but its good enough til i save up to get some new wheels.
