I need a stiff side wall 205/45 16

I live in florida so I dont need a/s tires "all season"they need to be summer performance. I am lowered on stock snowflakes I need something like 205/45 or 215/40 something along those lines. I am leaning towards handling and sportiness not comfort.

Have you tried tire rack? I think a lot of people like the continental extreme contact tires

The tire 'designed' for the Contour SVT, the BF Goodrich KDW had some super stiff sidewalls back when they were for the SVT.
I do not know if they have modified them since.
I owned a SVT Contour for 13 years. Great tires.. Corner like in was on rails.. like crazy, but really noisy tires too.

The second set when I replaced them... suprise one tire had four nails all the way through, one a large spike! Never leaked any air.
TOUGH tires.

Conti's have very 'soft' sidewalls in general.

I can feel the tires roll over whenever I take anything over 40, a little stiffer sidewall would be nice LOL

Try the BFG G-Force Comp 2 tires. Sidewalls are fairly stiff, and they perform well on dry and wet pavement, and do alright against hydroplaning.

The bridgestone 760 has a side wall almost as stiff as a run flat. Or the RE-11 is even better with a tad stiffer sidewall than the 760.

If you really want to go sticky take a look at the Dunlop Direzza ZII

It's almost the type of tire that you can drive on the street but then take to some track events.
