How well does Plasti Dip holds up to when you rotate your tires and take off the lug nuts? Has anyone with Plasti Dip taken their car to get the tires rotated?

Plastidip doesn't hold up very well. It looks great for a week, OK for a couple more, then just bad.

Paint is insignificantly more work, but lasts.

Every other lowered car in my neighborhood has plastidipped wheels that look like crap. Do a decent paint job and people will ask where you had them powder coated.

And don't spray it on the tires, that's half assing it if you are dipping. Buy a cheap deck of cards and make it look good. Paint will always be better.

I dipped mine in red and then black a few weeks later. Removed the center caps, taped off the tires and valve stems. Used 2 cans for all 4 wheels for red and lasted a long time. Only a can and a half for the black and it ended up being too thin.
