225/50-15

I'm looking into new tires and would like to know if anyone is running 225/50-15?

More specifically, does anyone have an rubbing/clearance issue with these tires on...

-An MK1 Focus that has been dropped (1.8" in my case)
-Stock 15"x6" wheels.

225 is a bit wide for a 6 inch tire. There is also possible rubbing issues on the strut up front.

It is possible to fit that tire onto a 6" wide wheel. It's right at the limit of the rim width range but it would fit the wheel. I'm gonna have to agree with wrc_fan though. The overall diameter of the tire looks ok but being a 225 is just a bit wide. You would probably get some running in the front. I would suggest going with a 205/55R15.
