axle length's?

since ive lowered my car, about 3" i've yet to have a problem until now. When i drive like a daily i have no noise coming from the car, but when torque is put through the makes a sound a cant really describe via internet. But i can say the sound is conjunction with my suspension going up and down along the road, the noise is light when the shock is extended, and heavier when it sit at its normal height. Has anyone come across this at all? My thought is that maybe the axle lengths have become to long. But any insight on this or an angle i haven covered yet would be helpful.

It could be the CV joint itself making the noise. With that kind of drop it's operating at angles it was not designed for.

My thought exactly. Axles were done about 3,000 ago so there no clicking like a bad cv, but sounds almost like metal is rubbing really hard.
