SVT Coilover Kits...

What is the best made kit and able to get the lowest settings? Narrowed it down to 3.... H&R, Koni? DGR (Read bad things about these)? Someone posted KW but they don't look impressive. Camber plates included/needed? Standard mount or Pillowball? Looked around in the forums but can't get a comparison. Saw the DGR's have issues. When I got the car I put just springs on it but I want more adjustability. Pics and personal experience on these would be good to have. Thanks.

Been looking on tirerack. Leaning toward Koni as of now. I like the dampening adjustment of the bilstiens.

So what do you want out of your svtf? Low & slow= racelands. If your going to corner weight your car w/ coilovers= H&R, K/W variant 2 or 3, Eibach, Koni, Bilsteins. Stay away from spc camber plates. PM Julian @ tirerack= very helpful. Don't forget a great setup for a fixed platform= H&R race springs w/ Koni yellows. Another great upgrade is cfm's tubular control arms.

** Moved to Suspension Area **

Moved you here to the suspension are to discuss your suspension questions with others that may be seeking the same answer. Also to get some insights from other suspension specialists here.

I second the Koni Sport H&R race spring combo (proper spring rates and damping for a 2" drop). Bat Inc. has several good coilover options as well (GAZ, Spax, etc.).

Thanks Ray. In hindsight I should have started it here.

I'll check out the koni and h&r springs.

I've been looking at the Koni yellow kit on CFM's site that comes with springs and adjustable damps. Unless I can find a proper fully adjustable kit, I'll probably pick that up for mine.

the koni sport and H&R setup will not get you as low as some of the others.
IMO the best over-the-counter coilovers are going to be KW's (any of em')
best of both worlds. (low and great handling coilovers.)

I 2nd that^^^^. If you want a cheaper version= K/W has ST's which use a galanized housings instead of stainless.
