prothane bushing front LCA install !HELP!

I have dominant engineering front LCA's and prothane bushings ready to go on but big bushing inner diameter is too big for control arm post lots of slop
Do I need a sleeve or something or is there a sleeve on the stock control arm that is useable?

Thanks for any info and help
-Nick

MY 1st thought is that they forgot a part. However, it may be an easy fix. Mic the control arm post and the inner bushing. Then go to this link and see if a simple piece of copper pipe will do the job.

Luck!

I emailed Dom about this issue, haven't heard anything yet but I know he is a busy guy.

I think I am just going to machine some sleeves at work. I just don't know if I should use steel or brass? The sleeves in the small bushings I know are steel and are coated, zinc(I think)

On focaljet some people said get some energy suspension bushings because they will work something about not needing a sleeve? I thought that was the sleeve in the outer shackle though from other threads on the subject I have read? Besides I want prothane not ES

thanks
-Nick

I think I personally would go with steel, although they might get squeaky (where a brass would ( or should) not.

Per Dom the energy suspension bushings will work so I guess I will be getting some of those.

Anybody want to buy some brand new unused Prothane bushings? LOL

Don't need the bushing! thanks for the offer. I am curious how much clearance you allow tween the 'bushing' and the bracket arm as the bushing bracket is solid.
