Front Knuckles

Ok all you suspension Gurus. I have searched and keep getting different answers.

I would like to convert over to the earlier style front knuckles. I have an 09 with the FRPP front brake kit installed. I also have the Massive Speed Omni Kit. I woud like to swap over to dump the Omni kit. I was looking to get some 00-04 knuckles, but I was told that my brakes would not bolt up and the ball joint hole was too small. I was then told I need 05 knuckles due to the fact that they have small hole for the strut and the larger hole for the ball joint.

Does anyone know for sure?

from what I have heard, you need the oddball '05 parts.
Have you looked at the svt knuckles, don't know how different they are but the brakes should bolt right up.

yeah, I'm not sure of the SVT knuckles will work. I have the FRPP front brake kit installed. That bolted right up to my 09 knuckles. I need a knuckle that will allow the brakes to bolt up, use the earlier style struts, and allow me to use the 06+ ball joint.

The '05 spindle will do ya' It uses the earlier smaller diameter strut, uses the later bigger tapered ball joint & the SVT brakes & BBK's bolt up.

Does any 05 work or do I need an ST specific one? I'm not sure if they are the same.

You'll need '05+ lower control arms to work w/ your '05 ST

In '05 Ford went to a bigger tapered ball joint.= the spindles have a bigger taper for the newer ball joints fit. How 'bout a set of CFM's tubular control arms?
