Wheel Bearing or Carrier Bearring?

I have a vibration and hum coming from what sounds like the right side front-end of my SVT. It only occurs when turning right, and is progressively more noticeable as speed increases. I have read a few threads on similar issues, but I cannot seem to distinguish between the symptoms of a bad wheel bearing and a bad carrier bearing.

Any ideas on how to diagnose this issue so I dont have to replace parts that are still good?

Background: 2002 SVT, 108k. No idea if the bearings have ever been replaced. I also had an issue with the passenger side hub assembly last time I did suspension work: I forgot to tighten a bolt and the strut assembly separated from the hub. Luckily, I heard the problem WAY before it finally gave out and was in my neighbourhood to be able to limp the car back home. I believe this *may* have put stress on the CV joint, causing the carrier bearing concerns. Otherwise, I would think wheel bearing all the way.

turning right would remove most of the load on the right side.... it won't be that wheel bearing. Could be the carrier bearing, it might get a little load off of that.
