Borbet or Work?

I have been wanting some new wheels for the car for a while and I have 2 different sets in mind but am very open to others as long as they follow the same general type of style. If anyone has some experience with either the wheel itself or the manufacturer's quality, that would be helpful. I was looking at Borbet Type A's and Work Euroline's. Basically looking for a euro styled wheel where the face of the wheel is nearly solid. If anyone has anything to offer, im willing to listen, and if anyone has pictures of either of those wheels on their car. That would help out a lot. My car is a Screaming Yellow SVT 3 door EAP if anyone is really good in photoshop.

Thank you all for the help.

Both are nice quality high end wheels. Good choice on either or. I think it'll look great.

I disagree with the "dub style". I always see dub style as wheels that are 24's or bigger and ALWAYS chrome. I'm looking for euro styled 17's mostly, same type of wheel face but really different appearance when applied to a focus. I have seen it done well before but I wanted to see some insight on other choices on the market and which of the ones mentioned other members have had experience with.

http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=12881

Heres an example of the "look" I'm going for. I am still very open to other wheels if there are suggestions.

i understand the look that you are going for... i just think they look extremely heavy and bulky. I know they are not..but i dont think it will work on your car RIGHT now.

Sorry if i come across rude, but thats just my opinion and its not my car..

It's fine, and some poorly made wheels are heavier but wheels are all personal opinion, that's why there are so many choices!

Either set will look fantastic on your car.

I hate hate hate it when someone says "don't do that, those are VW wheels" ... stop being ignorant and close-minded. What looks good, looks good.

I had a set of 16x7.5/16x9 Borbet Type As in my posession up until a few days ago, they are awesome wheels and they are definitely not heavy wheels. TireRack wheels are heavy and poorly made (with a select few exceptions), Borbet and Work are very high end wheels. You won't be disappointed with them, and they will look great.

What width and offset are you thinking of getting? 17s or 18s? 8 inch wide wheels with an offset of 38 to 42mm fits great!
