Goodyear F1 GS-D3's are toast...time for new tires

I have Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s on 6 spoke SVT 17 inch rims for my 2006 ST. Got them new in 2007 and have used them summer only since (run the stock 16 inch rims with stock P6 tires in the winter). They have around 30K on them now. Just went to Discount Tire to have them installed and they said the sidewalls have so many cracks on them that they can't install for me (liability reasons). I looked at them and agree they are really cracked. I guess for a summer performance tire 5 years and 30K is not bad. They ordered up a set of 215 45 17 F1 Asymmetric 2's for me and they should be in by mid week (same tire the 2013 ST has!). I have read great things about these tires........I hope they handle as good or better than the GS-D3s which I love..
