42mm is ideal, but you can go slightly higher if you want less of a lip.

with the cup kit, look for a 42mm (at least) offset.

My rims - installed a few days ago - had "double-drilling" - 4 and 5 hole patterns (nine holes total). This make the rims easier to sell later - because few car have 4x108 pattern. The holes are covered by a hub cap.

My 16" rims on SVT have 45mm offset. These wheels protrude slightly firm wheel well and decrease vertical clearance between tire and front fender lip. Wish they were closer to OEM 49mm offset.

i have 17x7's with a 40 offset and they fit perfect. technically not possible to install without rubbing but with my 2 inch drop i have no problem at all. and thats with hard cornering just ask around and possibly have the rim and tire fitted to check out clearances and wheel well gaps and such. good luck. ideally you want 42 and higher though
