I Screwed Up :(

some of you may have read my other thread saying i bought the saleen suspension kit but it needed new rear shocks so i was asking what shocks to go with.....WELL my intentions were to buy the kyb agx's but i was in such a rush to order them i accidently ordered kyb gr-2's :(. i know not very smart, should i just buy the agx's anyways and not even bother putting on the gr-2's or are they a good enough strut to run for a little while

GR's while a very good OEM replacement shock are NOT intended to be used with lower or stiffer springs. They may last for a while but you're doing both the shock and the springs a disservice. In the longrun you will not receive the performance or handling improvements desired when such changes are made.

I would try to return them and get credit towards the AGX's. Or just order the AGX's and sell the brand new GR-2's in the B-S-T section. You don't want to go through all the time and trouble of installing a nice suspension system and then compromising it with the wrong shocks.

Ah, I knew $130 shipped for two AGX's was too good of a deal. No big deal, I'd try to get a credit and I still think you should just to get that single Eibach pro-damper. But that's just me! ;)

I can't Find any eibach anywhere and I can't return them. Meh whatever tho I'll just order the agx's and keep these for spare parts. You never know when you need spare parts right

What's bad is when you have spare parts for your spare parts lol Could just load up your loft with every bit of stuff you buy and don't put on the car like I do
