standard lug nut wrench won't fit now

With the new rota wheels on, i just found out that the factory lug nut wrench that is stored with the spare tire and jack in the trunk is TOO THICK to fit between in the lug nuts now. So i can't even remove my tires now.

I did some research and i think what i need is something called a "thin wall socket"? Is this correct?

You need a thin wall socket, probably a 19mm or 3/4. Try Sears.

Yes, some aftermarket wheels have the lug spaces so tight that you would have to get a thin walled socket in order to fit over the lugnuts. Any hardware store or autoparts store should carry one. But if you want to get something that has a lifetime guarantee I would suggest getting a Craftsman or something similar that can be replaced if broken. Craftsman hand tools have a lifetime replacement warranty on them but the only downside is that they are a bit more expensive than the cheap Chinese garbage you will find at autoparts stores.
