KYB GR 2's on 2005 ST?

Hey people. Just picked up a 2005 ST for a great price. Car is in great shape except for the struts/shocks. The car seems to just bounce all over the place. It is stock, and I intend to keep it that way. I understand the ST has the SVT shocks/struts and swaybars. Would KYB GR 2's be a good replacement?

Every thing I have read on KYB's site states the GR2's are not replacements for an SVT, but do show the ST as the same fitament as any non SVT Foci of the same period. So will they work, or should I contact a site vendor for OEM? Thanks.

KYB's are a very good OEM replacement shock but are not really intended to be used with lowering springs. So if you intend to go that route they may not be the best choice. Some SVT replacement shocks are available for less than 200.00 for a complete set of four from several FF vendors. That's probably the wise choice.
