help with h&r coilover noise too much preload?

So I installed the h&r coilovers and now whenever i go over speed bumps i hear a noise that i know for a fact is the top plate for the spring and bearing which sits above that seperating on one side from the eibach alignment plate, this only happens when i drive over sudden bumps and when the suspension is quickly compressed, its as if the springs aren't sitting perfectly centered on the plate and when i hit a bump the side that is hanging over more takes more force causing the plate to seperate from the upper mount and make a clank noise when it returns.

I've already broken one of the plastic bearings because of the spring plate moving off of its location. I'm wondering if I need to rotate the top plate around so that the spring sits a different way or if im just missing something else entirely.

All the bolts are tight and the spring is compressed a good amount, the only thing i can think of is maybe i have it compressed too much which is causing the plate on top to move with the extra force of a bump in the road.

Thanks for any help or suggestions, I'm going to try loosening the springs tomorrow

in this diagram the parts i am referring to are
#10= eibach camber plate
#9 = spring plate
#5 = bearing

current mods: 2.5 borla catback, debadged, AEM cai, H&R coilovers, SVT frontlip, SCT Xcal, kenwood deck, gutted interior, shortened antenna, and a big ass dent on the passenger side
