I have had prices quoted on this subject as well. Some shops will charge 75-180+ depending on the damage and if you want to have them refinished. Even though some wheels usually don't require refinishing, it is just an option thrown in at some places to make more money. They do charge more if you have the tires on because it requires removal of the tire and rebalancing etc... in order for them to get to the wheel to repair it. Now as for the price of stock wheels that are damaged? All depends, some people who really want them will pay a reasonable asking price for them damaged or not. But it's like any sale that you have, if there is a willing market people will pay what ever to get something they want. Most people like to buy the wheels if they have tires on them already as I have seen before.

Sell the set with good tires (not great but some life left) for $225-250. Thats about what they go for in the BST for stock 16" rims that are usable but not perfect. For stockers, no one will pay $300 plus unless they have nice brand new tires.

To set a fair price you need to do some research. If you intend to sell them locally, its worth a trip to some junk yards to see what they sell a comparable set for (Since most junk yards are computerized a phone call will work as well). If you want to sell them on the internet (ebay, Focus Fanatics, etc.) naturally you need to price them comparable to what's available online.

Your price will be greatly reduced if any of the wheels is damaged such as a bent lip. Repairs to alloy wheels are expensive and often exceeds the value of the wheel. In this case the wheel that is damaged is a freebie or has minimal value....sorry.

I would sell them without tires. Rarely will you recover the price of a new tire (as well as cost of mounting, balancing etc.). It limits your market as buyers may or may not like your tire selection. If selling online, the tires will greatly increase the cost of shipping and it becomes a bigger pain for you to prepare (packaging) everything for shipping as well. Online shoppers look for value as well. In essence, the entire package (product, shipping, etc) must be offered for much less than what it can be purchased for locally to offset the wait and potential of getting ripped off by not fully being able to investigate the purchase.
