Sway bar links and struts.

I know there are a lot of threads in here about this subject but little on cost.
I'm having the sway bar links changed also there is a broken spring on a front strut so both front struts are being changed which seems to be common with these cars.2000 Focus SE wagon.
The price is $1000.00 complete, it's about what I thought it would be but I'm wondering if that's inline with what others have paid.
Thanks

the springs should be free there is a recall on them. and the sway bar links are very easy to change on your own if you want to do it that way.

Recall?

Thanks for your reply.
I didn't hear about a recall.Would it apply to a 2000 Focus?
I guess a little research is in order.

Do the end links yourself. For $55 from rockauto.com and a good hours worth of work. The dealership wanted $204 for both sides when mine went bad. As for the springs and such....have those done.
