Rear shocks for a KW coilover setup

So I'm buying some KW V1 Coilovers off a friend this week, and I need to start looking into rear shocks. I don't know a whole lot about shocks, so any recommendations would be nice.

Not looking to cheap out on them, but I also am not made of money - keep this in mind with the recommendations please :)

I can't find any numbers on the spring rates on either the KW website, nor on any of the threads on this forum, or FJ.

I'm guessing it's in the 300+ range, as most of the other coilover setups are.

I was kind of thinking the Koni's anyway, as I'm saving a ton of money on the coilovers themselves ;)

Clarification please....Are you just buying the springs from a coilover kit? Most true (adjustable) coilover systems come with the shocks that's why I'm asking. If the springs were part of a true coil over setup they likely have a inside diameter of 2.5 inches. As a result you need a shock designed for those narrow diameter springs. Shocks with threaded bodies and threaded spring seats are needed. Not too many of these are readily available.

The KW V1 coilovers have just springs for the rear, with adjustables perches.

I don't currently have them in my posession, so I'm not 100% sure.

I am assuming it's just regular shocks...since the Focus rear suspension separates the shocks and the springs...and the KW's are adjustable springs.
