svt rear brake swap on a 00 zx3 help

hey guys so im finally gonna get around to swaping on my svt brake kit on to my 00 zx3..iv searched threads and even downloaded the entire manual from ford racing for this swap....was just wondering if theres any tricks and tips to make this any easier???

im gonna be doing this on jack stands (kinda nervous) but it it possible to do the ebrake cable well on jack stands?? also what DOT fluid should i use in this kit??? also what is the OEM DOT fluid and can you mix to kinds together or should i just stay stock fluid???...iv also been told that i should use DOT5 because it withstands moisture better since i store my car every winter...is this tru?? should i worry about it??

i think this is it for now im sure ill have more questions well doing the swap

wish me luck!!!!!

ill try and do a how to on this will see what happends

I'm definitely not a brake fluid expert but I know I use DOT 3 in my car. I think it's in the manual somewhere. I was also told that mixing synthetic and organic brake fluids together was not an issue like it is with motor oil, but I don't know how true that is.
Wattup Hamilton!!!

You adjust the ebrake from INSIDE the car, underneath the center console near the ebrake...

i use the super blue fluid, which is Dot 4 and i would say, since you are going to be running steel lines, up from dot 3 to a dot 4.

--------

hey i was wondering, since you got the kit new, and prob have a check list, can you get me the part number of the dust shield, hub n bearing, and retainer nut cover.

thanks

you should really swap the fluids out, flush it until only the new one is in there.

if your a one man team, i really recommend the " speed bleeder" from russel, it makes things allot easier.

Is that a current part# for the rear brake kit on the box? I looked it up and couldn't seem to find anything.
