Brake kit confusion

Ok, I've been doing research on the svt brake kit and the rally brake kit and seen many different answer by different people, so if someone could help clear up some things for me that would be great.

1. The rally brake kit and the SVT brake kit are exactly the same, except the SVT kit uses 300mm front rotors instead of 280mm. And that is there only difference.

2. You need at least 16" wheels to fit the SVT kit, and the rally kit will fit in 15"s.

3. What are the largest rotors that can be put into SVT 17" wheels with either kit?

Thanks for all your help.

well, ur dependant upon where ur calipers sit, you cant put 330 MM rotors on teh SVT brake kit w/o moving the brackets out further. But a 17 in wheel can fit about a 330 mm rotor if you had a big brake kit. (you could always buy mine!! lol)

The rally brake kit uses the svt rear brakes and the 2005 focus front brakes. Calipers/pads/rotors are the only difference between the two kits.
