SVT stock ride height

I'm having a little tire rub from the left front on bumps in turns and I'm trying to figure out if this SVTF I just picked up is running at the stock ride height or if it has lowering springs.

Could anyone with a stock SVT Focus measure from the wheel center to the top of the arch of the front fender for me?

I measured 13 1/2 inches on mine.

Thanks!
-RP

Measured just under 25" from ground to fender. Mine rubs occasionaly but only over really wavy roads or deep bumps. Nothing bad though. She only has 66K on her so springs and shocks aren't bad.

How about a measurement from center of wheel to fender?

That should provide a tire/wheel size agnostic reference...

AJP, can you go grab your tape measure for me and report back?

If we can get measurements from a handful of cars that rub and another handful that don't, I'm hoping there might be a pattern that points towards a solution. I don't want to pop for new stock springs until I try to get some evidence it might help.

I have the stock 6 spoke wheels, stock tire size (215/45-17), and about 50,000 miles on it.

I've already bent the tab that holds the plastic splash shield upwards a little bit.

I agree it should not rub in a stock configuration, I'm trying to confirm my springs and ride height are stock.
