Need Nuts!!!

Lugnuts, lol. The ones I have (factory) are disappointing. The chrome caps keep falling off the nuts. Ford has replaced them multiple times under warranty. Ford only has the chrome cap kind for me, but they told me if I bring in my own lugnuts they'd replace them for free (under warranty). So, can someone give me a link to a site where I can get some real lugnuts, not the chrome cap kind?

I have the stock ones off my SVT, but only like 12 or so of them. I went to autozone and bought a full set of the blue ones(can't remember the brand name) and came with extra lug nuts with the lock on them along with the lock. It was only $29.95 for the complete set.

Both Gorilla and McGard make good aftermarket lug nuts that are widely available from online retailers as well as e-bay sellers.

How expensive are lug nuts supposed to be anyway? $30 seems kinda pricey to me... Seems like I'm getting a pretty good deal, considering they lock, in case I ever get aftermarket wheels down the road...

You should hit up one of your local wheel and tire shops.
More often than not, you should be able to pick up generic lug nuts for a buck a pop.

The OEM ones at places like Autozone were almost $3.00 each for the ones I was looking for and they were not even the right length(SVTs are different?). I paid $30 for mine which they come with 20 because they have 4 extra that you can swap for the locking nuts if you choose to. I do believe they are lighter weight too but only by like .000001oz or something .

I don't think you really wanna cheap out on lugnuts anyways. Especially on ebay ones where they are probably like 50% lead and will break causing your wheel to fly off onto oncoming traffic.... NOT good.
