KYB GR2's???

my neighboor just bought a zx3 and he asked me today to find him some cheap replacement shocks and springs, i got a set of svt or a set of eibach springs already for him that were lying around, but how are the KYB GR2 shocks and struts? they say they can be used with a lowering spring... any ideas??

i told him not to cheap out on suspension but he wants to spend less than 200 for all 4....

the only struts i found that said they would work with a drop was the eibachs. I ordered a set form tire rack lasat night for 324 to my door. that is a pretty cheap for those.

i wouldnt use the gr2's with lowering springs. According to eibach the go out quicker. Use tokikos unless kyb has the gas a just or agx shocks which would be perfect

Im not trying to talk you out of it. The GR2's will work but to get your moneys worth in the long run use the gas a just or the agx. Shop around I bet you could get a good deal on them. Goodluck!

SVT shocks with the SVT springs would be a natural combo. SVT shocks can be had for less than 200.00 for a set of four. You won't find any thing else that cheap. The KYB's GR2's "might" work OK with SVT springs but are too long to be used with Eibach or any other shorter spring.
