what size for my 18s??

I just ordered 18x7.5 for my 08. Used the search button for tires and seems everyone is running 215/35s and they look good but I would bend my rims where I live.

Is there any other sizes that have a little more side-wall but wont throw off the speedo that much more? I thought 215/45 but the tire calculator says my speedo will say 65mph when I'm actually doing 68.773.

I dont know much about tire sizes so any help would be appreciated.

215/35/18 still has 3/4 of the sidewall of the stock 16's. That's all I know about it. I'd say try to find a quality tire with a stiff sidewall and keep them full of air. There are others here who know a lot more about running large wheels than I do.

Well, it also depends on the wheel offset. I have som 18" RS Wheels, running 215/35/18 tires. it´s a good size for me, since the wheels ahd a 42mm offset and do rub some times (very little). Try a 215/40 or the 45.

I´d recomend you stick with 16´s or 17´s. You´re gonna dislike the ride quality of the 18´s.

Here´s a pic of mine with the RS'

And some more...

08xCel, I'm running 215/40/18 tires on my ICW racing rims.

I only have rubbing issues if I hit huge pot holes that I can't avoid.

I would think 205's would be to much of a stretch for 8 inch wide wheels..
