O.Z. Ultraleggeras are pretty light for 17in.

I would suggest going 16 in. though you'll save more weight, your ride will be better, and the wheels are cheaper.

If you are going 16in. you should get some Rota slipstreams

I guess I should ask, what are you looking to do with these, show, track, street?

If I ever got light weight wheels I would get the Pro Race 1 wheel from team dynamics.

The weight starts out at 13.4 pounds (15x7), I would say the 17x7 size would ring in around 15 pounds, they come in black too.
I also would say go with a 16 inch, if you end up using these as your everyday wheels it would be wise to have that much more tire in between the road and your ultralight and more fragile wheels...

Oh hell, I thought Team Dynamics was no longer around. I used to have a set on my Neon back in 1998 and they were the blue 16 spoke. I remember them being light as hell too considering the other set of wheels I had weighed a ton compared to the Team Dynamics. I would suggest getting the team dynamic wheels actually. I had those for over 2 years and never had a problem out of them at all. Ended up trading them for some Racing Harts

I have a set of 17" Kazera rims. I like the way they look. They aren't a high name super light race rim. But each are about 4~5 lbs lighter than my stock 16" were.

i personally love my 17x7 enkei j10s on my red focus. they are only 17.5 lbs each and i got wheels and nitto neogen 215/40/17 tires mounted, balanced, and shipped from discounttire.com for $930.

check out my cardomain www.cardomain.com/ride/2992424

and critter a 15x7 wheel that weighs 13.4lbs is gonna weigh more than 15lbs going to a 17" wheel.. probably be more like 17lbs..
rotas i know are like 12-13lbs for 15s, and like 16.5lbs for 17s

OZ F1 Racing wheels are only 15.3 lbs in the 17 inch version, u can only find them used now, back when i bought mine, they were 425 a rim. you see them on ebay every now and then, but they are still really expensive.
