Wheel wobble

Hey everyone,

Let's start out by saying when you have the car on a jack/lift you can tilt the wheel up down left right etc. When I take the wheel off, you can do the same exact thing with the brakes.

I replaced my bearings in both front wheels and now it just wobbles left and right, what does this mean? Is it the hub assembly or tie rods or what? I would like to know before I call Ford tomorrow.

Thanks guys!

Yup TieRods ... If you have quite a bit of play ... that's the culprit.

I've ran into this ... TWICE ... no fun.

MOD PLEASE MOVE TO TECHNICAL CHAT SECTION ... I believe it should be brought up there.

So, is this something I can do myself or do I have to pay someone to do it?

Grab the wheel and see if you can move the wheel. if it moves(while the car is off) then the outer tie rod is the culprit.

Well... You'll have to get it aligned after it.
