225/45 rub?

Will the 225/45 17" rub on my SVT with stock suspension?

I'm looking to get these off a member on here. He has 225/45 Toyo Proxes on there. Are those tires any good? I've never used Toyos before. I remember I had another set of TSWs Revos before(Like the Saleens) and originally had I think 205/40 on there and they rubbed on hard corners etc, but were fine with the stock size of 215/45. Are the 225 any different with stock SVT suspension? Thanks.

I'm also gonna check to see what offset those tires are. If they are anything like the Revos I had prior.... drools.

Edit: Was able to find just one post from about 5 years ago, here. So that answers my question about no rubbing then.

Only found the one thread???
Hmmmm.

Try this one on for size...
Azenis RT-615's Are Here!

BTW, I highly doubt they'll make it without rubbing with anything other than the stock SVT wheels.
Check the "Clearance shot" I posted in that thread.
Any less than stock (49mm) offset is just asking for trouble hitting the fenders on bumps.
BTW, those Azenis run short.
I'll bet the Toyos are 1/4" taller which is going to make the offset even that much more critical.

Wow those have about 1" more contact with the pavement!

Yeah I searched for thread titles so that's why I didn't find that thread lol.

I did love my Revos offset with the 215/45 on there. Was perfect for me and was what I liked.

Ok from what I gathered.

They are called TSW Zenons and are discontinued. Found out they weight 24lbs each without tires! Still lighter than the Revos @ 24.8lbs. Still can't seem to find the offset, will update once I do...

^^^Which is about where the SVTF sits in stock form.

Does yours not rub at all? 0%, zilch, nada...
Or is it the (typically heard around here);
1) It only rubs when I have passengers.
2) It only rubs in tight turns.
3) It only rubs on big bumps.

IMHO, if it rubs once...it's already rubbed too much.
