What kind of issues could I come across with and 18 inch rim?

I have an 08 2dr ses and i know the factory is fiting 17x7 inch rims.I found a rim by ADR I like but the only size they had was 18 inch so I went ahead and ordered it.What kind of issues could i come across with this rim?Maybe less MPG

Chance of slower acceleration and longer braking distances due to increased rotating mass.

with 215/35/18s you should be fine..

the acceleration wont be much slower if any at all. remember your making the wheel bigger but the tire smaller. some tires weigh 28lbs, some weigh 19.. it all depends..

Depending on the wheels, you can get some head turns, some flying kisses from chicks, and some slapping from your gf Any other than that, you should be fine,

use this thingy Wheel Calculator as u can see with a 18 and the 215 35 its pretty close to stock so the extra rotating mass is something you shouldnt need to worry about...weight maybe, but not the overall size

i ran 18's with 215 35 tire and with a 1.5 drop and i was fine...but i have no idea if its the same thing on the 08 focus

Well the many lug holes don't look to appealing but the design look superb. Oz racing has a similar design that the put on their rally car, very similar to the svt 17 style. Well 18's do look better but I would think the width matters. 18x8 would be too large without a kit. I had 18x8 oz rims with 215/35/18 on my focus. I found out that with tires stretch I dealt with scratching everything. My advise try a 18x7. The biggest tire you can get without rubbing would be is a 215. Tires should flush with rims
