Front end humming WUP WUP WUP noise

OK guys i`m looking for help diagnosing this noise I have on my sons ZX3, we have this wupwupwup / humming noise that we can hear when we are going straight but it is much more pronounced when turning left, to me the sound defiantly seems to be coming from front the passenger side of the car, we have recently replaced the rear wheel bearings so I know its not the rears, does this sound like the front wheel bearing, and if it is the fronts could someone point me in the direction of a how to. T.I.A.

have the same problem. my mechanic told me it's the strut bearing. haven't replaced the strut bearing yet so I can't confirm that is the fix.

Old school wheel bearing play tests still apply to these hub types. Just be sure that you're not hearing the CV axle and thinking it's a wheel bearing. It's fairly simple to differentiate- one thunk is close, the other thunk is far. Since it's likely to be the passenger- you shouldn't have a problem telling what is making the noise.

Mmmmm, there aint any play when the wheel is jacked up, but there isn't any thunking noise on full lock / opposite, so I don't think that its the CV joint.

I've got the same sound. I had the bearings checked and I think it's the bearing on the passenger axle. Hasn't gotten any worse in 6 months.
