how to keep tires planted

was wondering how to keep my tires more planted to ground when taking off?raced a 01 zx3 had right at take off then my front felt like it lost traction

Decent tires are a must. You can have all the upgrades in the world but without some sticky rubber, it won't mean a thing.

yupp, i was spinning left and right, got some new tires and then it was almost perfect for starts...

I think too thats just the nature of the beast w/ the FWD cars although you can prevent it some what but it will allways be there.

^^^ It probably depends on how heavy the tire is physically w/o air; or it probably doesn't matter much but a couple of 3 or 4 pounds difference.
