rear sway bar

I am starting on my suspension mods. I have an svtf which has frt and rear swaybars stock. I am considering upgrading them. I like the progress rear sway, but they don't offer a front one. Is there really any need to change the front bar???Help! WD40 if you're out there please respond. I need some help here. Thanks Foci Bros

^^ +1

The progress matches perfectly with the stock front. You shouldnt need to beef that up unless you went bigger in the rear

A lot of the upgrade should take into consideration the application and your driving style.

Competition/"Spirited" Drivers will look for the following:

Larger Front Bar - Assists in putting the power on the ground more effectively over stock. A really good upgrade for front wheel drivers. Especially for cars that are not equipped with an LSD.

Larger Rear Bar - Encourages oversteer in the car that can be especially useful in AX or track applications because it increases "rear rotation".

A word about larger rear bars. Our cars do have a tendency to oversteer. The larger rear bar exxagerates this. If you are in a corner and lift off the gas, the rear will come around (at appreciable speed).

Some have experienced snap oversteer that is so pronounced that they have gone back to stock.

I'm running a stock (SVT) front 21mm and a Saleen 25mm in the back. No big oversteer issues I've seen, but I've not taken it to the track with this setup yet either.

I ran the eibach rear on my car (24mm) with the stock front and it was ok in general everyday driving, but I did have a point during AX's where it rotated almost too much. At the time I was on the stock svt springs, so I think the nose was diving a bit and the inside rear wheel was picking up quite a bit. I put the front in and it balanced it out nicely. Not sure how it would drive with the 21mm back up front now that I have stiffer springs, but I am not going through that crap again.
