Lightbulb Spindle replacement

I just replaced the right front spindle on my 2000 SE.
I was able to mount the spindle to the Strut and control arm with no problems.
Now I am having issues getting the drive-axle to seat properly in the spindle.
It is VERY tight. It was tight when I pulled it off also.
Are there any tricks when trying to put it back on to get it to seat fully?
The Hayes book I was using as a guide stated that there is a special tool that may be needed to get it to set right, or a simular homemade device.
If you can get the spindle nut on the axle , is it ok to pull it back onto the spindle torqing the nut back on ?

Anyone have any expirence with this ?

I put some grease on my splines and used jihad-strength (lol inside joke) to get it into there, then I torqued on the axle nut to pull it all the way through.

Thanks for the tip.
That worked for me also.
I just needed to get a new Wheel nut.

..and for anyone who happens to be searching the internets for info on spindle/knuckle replacement , for a 2000 , 2001 , 2002, 2003 , 2004 or 2005 Ford Focus LE , LX , SE
The front wheel nut is 32mm .
you may need a universal puller, a T50 torx bit and a new wheel nut.
It isnt as hard as it sounds to do.

Good luck.
