P51 Rear shock Shims... Alternatives

I just wanted to know if anyone has a good alternative to the shims P51 makes for the rear shock mounts. I ghetto rigged my mounts with card board. Hmmm... wood....

Thoughts anyone?

Oh the shims, for poeple that dont know, quite down some of the clunks/squeaks when you installed a performance suspension (ex roush stage 2). I had a clunking noise around the top of my rear right shock mount and my 2 minute homemade shim somewhat worked and quieted the noise some. I figure something more sturdy should do the trick if .... does not make them anymore... but I would slike some suggestions

A sheet of polyurethane (of the correct thickness) and a hole saw (of the correct diameter) would be a very inexpensive solution.

P-51 still makes em, just got mine. very fast shipping! Im thinking my creaks are coming from the steeda rear sway adaptor though... installed the shims and they quieted certain squeaks down.

Heck, 25 bones? I like geezers idea a little more. Even if I have to buy the bit, at least I'll own a bit too! Or, if this dude sold the proper bits a long with the shims then I'd go for it.....lol

Are the shims really going to make that much of a difference though like the description says?
