looking for wheel tip/suggestions

This is my focus (white). Dark picture but at least you can see the wheels.

I'm looking for some new wheel/rim suggestions. I want to stick with the same size wheel I have now so I can just swap the tires over to them,as I don't need tires yet.

I'm looking for something that is a lighter weight (someone mentioned these are the heaviest wheels stock, ouch!) and either white, black or charcoal (I don't mind a polished lip)

My budget for this will be $550.

I'd love to hear some suggestions/tips/advice as to what to stay away from
or your reviews if you have any. Pictures are helpful too. I hope this isn't too much to ask for. Thanks!

P.S. It's a 2005 so what would the official color be called?

Look at www.tirerack.com It is a very good site with many wheels to choose from. It also gives you wheel weight and other helpful specs. And there is also an option to see the wheels on your car.

Ford Racing wheels are attractive, strong, and moderate in price. They're not the lightest, however. Many FF vendors carry them. Bat inc. also has a few focus specific wheels as well.

something black, with a chrome or machined lip would probably look sharp, some nice contrast. i'd go as far to even suggest maybe some simple 5 spoked chrome rims, or something similar, would look alright on the white focus. check out tirerack though, you can find some good deals on there at times when something is being discontinued or they're just getting rid of the supply.

Thanks, I saw those but mine are 16" and over my budget too. ;)

I'm liking these:

There isn't any info about the weight though.

BAT Inc. is really the British American Transfer. Google it and it should be the first hit. You'll need to go through a few pages to get to the focus stuff.
