Sway bar question

I have a 08 SE on order. The SES comes with front and rear sway bars, the SE with front only. Being the same chassis, can you get a rear sway bar and bolt it up, or are the lower arms different. Would be the one thing I wish the SE had.

suspension parts should be the same. Yes you can get a sway bar and bolt it up, but you will also need to get mounting hardware... a kit from steeda:

If you're going to invest, get the SVT suspension. you'll love it!

Steeda also has a rear sway bar and mounting kit for non-SES Foci. It doesn't say it fits an '08, but you could call them and find out if it does. I don't know if they made any changes to the '08 rear suspension.

I have one of these on my '07 SE, and it made a HUGE difference.

The '00-'04 suspension is different from the '05, which is different from the '06-'07, yet the swar bar fits all Foci from '00-'07.

i think i've read somewhere that the suspension on the '08 isn't all that different from the '06-'07. maybe it was something else i'm thinking of...idk...maybe someone else can lend some light on the subject...

*and whether the '05 is different from the '00-'04 or not idk, but i do know that they aren't incompatible. parts are typically listed as '00-'05 and '06-'07. and the svt kit fits '00-'05. you're right though for sure that the '06-'07 is different...but darn i could've swarn people have said the '08 is the same or compatible or something...

SVT Suspension with rear sway bar
Won't the SVT suspension only fit up to 05 as the suspensions changed from 06 on? Or did they revert back?

Well, not being an engineer at Ford I can't say with 100% certainty.

But I was under the impression that the suspension was largely unchanged between the model years.
