ok i just post that i got the EBC green stuff pads right, and i was just wondering about geezers response to my sisters BMW post....

If i just the EBC green Stuff pads on my new rotors now and later when i need new pads, will i have to get(best choice due to Bedding) EBC green pads or will i be able to get different performace pads....

I think as long as the new pads are the of the same material you should be fine to get other pads. As long as the rotors are not worn out or there is shuddering caused by uneven distribution of pad material in the rotor itself.

Not necessarily, but that will give you the best braking performance.

It's best to stay with the same pad material. We seem to have issues switching pad material even when we machine rotors.

Doesn't EBC have some quality problems pertaining to the friction material separating from the backing plate? I think I read that in here.

Yes they do...pad material separating from the backing plates.
That's why I went with Hawk (HPS) pads.

Man that would be suprising.....

Now those Hawk pads. Do they work like a High performance pad? Meaning they work better at higher temps? I know some racing pads are really annoying on the street as they have terrible low temp performance.

HPS = Street pad
http://focus.c-f-m.com/index.asp?Pag...ROD&ProdID=861
HP Plus = Track pad
http://focus.c-f-m.com/index.asp?Pag...OD&ProdID=1417

I've had the HPS on for 6 months now. Love em.
I've also driven in -22°F temps, and the brakes never gave up.
Well...it's hard to find dry roads at those temps...

Well with how expensive the OEM pads are (friggin 230 bucks with tax from the stealership) the HPS pads might be my next set. They sound great.
