Waht to do? I need some advice!

As most of you hard working people already know, it seems that the government is going to be cutting the backbone of this nation some slack with 600-1200 rebate checks to "jump start" the economy. Well, I told my wife that she can keep her 600 so she could buy anything she wants and vice versa. So guys, tell me what to do.

Option 1:
Buy the Saleen Kit at Massivespeed and add a FS Strut Tower Bar = $600

Option 2:
Buy Eibach Prokit Springs, Progressive Rear Swaybar, FS Strut Tower Bar, CFM Short Shifter, FS Rear Stress Bar = $600

Option 3:
Buy Ford Racing KW Springs, MBRP Exhaust, Progressive Rear Swaybar = $550

The only mod I have is the Stealth CAI and I have about 38000 miles on the car. The reason I include the miles is to see how long my shocks would last if I got the Eibachs or the FRPP KW Springs.

Thanks in advance!

I vote option two, that would be lovely... I'm not a body kit guy, living in PA and having the worst roads on earth... so Option 2 would rock man... thank god for the govt and their infinite wisdom

Possibly a different approach....some really good tires if you don't already have them. Second bit of advise....you're cheating yourself if you don't have good shocks to dampen any spring selection. I'd suggest an Eibach Pro System (springs and struts) and tracking down a used (save some bucks) SVT rear sway bar. But once more, none of these improvements is worth a squat unless you have good tires to put that improved traction and handling to the street.

I would go with #1 for your budget, #2 or #3 like Geezer said no shocks/struts your going to get a bumpy ride on stock rest of your suspension. I would say At the min some KYB adjustable struts and shocks, they are about the cheapest out there and they are OK, I have them, but noise is always one of my favorites so #3 sounded good, um save up 1800 and do them all at the same time! HA HA

I'm thinking about just going with option 1. I think that would also be better from an economic and handling standpoint as well. I just hope they have enough of those kits left by the time the rebate comes.

i believe i have the same suspension set up as the SVT. the only thing different is that i have stock springs. I have the same sway bars as the SVT.

i jus tthing that the "Advance check, to jump start the ecmony".... is just going to make more people in debet... they can get advance money then when the tax come back to the people, they still going to keep it, unless you never touch or see that return to ya.....well only thte amount that your barrow.

But my opinion is to get the surspension 1st before any permormance. along with brakeing power.... if you move fast, can you stop or react fast enough???

I think I'm going to go for the Saleen kit just because it has everything you will need for everything. Eibach Pro Damper shocks and struts, front and rear sway bars, and springs. I think this is the best kit you will find for the money. If Saleen uses them, they're worth it!

By the way, I'm sorry that you're an A&M fan...

Have fun losing to UT next season!

I think option #2, not much of a body kit guy and if you gonna get a strut tower barm please dont get the front bar... in my opinion I think if you have a stock suspen. (struts and springs) than why have a strut bar. so in my opinion I say option 2 more bang for the buck!

$EDIT$ Oh ya GO HUSKIES!
