Pads and Rotors for my 02 SVTF

So early today I took my car in for an alignment and a brake inspection. The alignment was done, but I need new brake pads and rotors. I kinda already knew I needed new ones anyway.

So right now I don't know if I want to buy SVT pads/rotors or getting aftermarket pads/rotors. My car is a daily driver and Im not planing on making it a race car anytime soon. I'm looking for somthing better then the stock pads/rotors, which were pretty good for stock. I highly enjoyed them maybe a little to much.

Anyway I was looking at EBC greenstuff pads and rotors or Hawk HPS and powerslot rotors. Or if anyone know of any other pads/rotors or even if anyone has other then stock pads/rotors tell me how you like them. Any suggestions and comments are apprciated. Thanks

I have heard on these threads that EBC has been having some quality control issues. Like the friction material separating from the backing plates during braking... So healthy... If you liked the stock ones I say just go with that.

I would assume its all of them seeing as they are all probably assembled pretty much the same way.

As far as rotors go stock is probably more than enough. All a rotor does is allow a platform for clamping to happen and a medium for heat to dissapate through. Slotted rotors will allow gas from heavily used pads to dissapate faster but won't subtract from braking distance is just daily here to there driving.

lol so don't we all. I do have to say slotted rotors sure look awesome and I have heard green/red/blue/whateverstuff looks great too from what can be seen. I bet a better upgrade that would help the feel of the brakes would be some SS lines. I know Russel makes a kit for your car. They probably look cool too.
