Anyone heard any about these tires????

Triangle Talon's? My buddy works at a local shop, they just scored a huge amount of wheels and tires from a dealership, some very nice such as Audi fat 5's, OE Porsche Cayenne wheels etc. They are hocking them all on ebay but he set aside a set of 225/45/17's Triangle Talons for me. Now I'm guessing they are a cheaper Japanese brand but here's the kicker. Got all 4 for $50 brand new, couldn't pass it up. Anyone know about or have ran these tires? Even if they aren't the best at $50 for a set of tires I'm not complaining. I've heard they are just another cheap tire, we'll see. If I get 10K miles out em ill be happy.

Pic of tires I got:

Are they Chinese? If so I'd stay away.

Look into General Exclaim UHP's.

http://www.dynamictire.com/about.html
Dynamic Tire Corp (DTC) was founded in 1997 by Robert Sherkin (President) and Peter Koszo (Executive Vice President). Since its inception, DTC has expanded from its global headquarter, located just outside of Toronto, Canada, to include offices in the United States and China. On October 1, 2005, Dynamic Tire successfully merged with the well established Galaxy Tire & Wheel, Inc. of Boston. This merger marked the creation of GPX International Tire Corporation. After the merger and the re-structure of these two companies, Dynamic Tire now represents the Canadian division of this multi-national corporation. For more information on GPX International Tire Corporation, please visit:

www.gpxtire.com

Dynamic Tire services the Canadian market in three main areas of business:

1. Distribution of passenger and light truck tires
2. Private Label and OEM programs, and
3. Sales of Galaxy and Primex Off-The-Road (OTR) tires, together with tire brands over which GPX has secured unique distribution rights.

Contact us today for more information on our customer-centric, quality driven tire programs.

Well, unless you can get me those for $50 shipped to my door I'll stick with these. My buddy said he's run these for years. Cheap and are decent, not great wet traction though and I snow tires so hopefully they'll be good...if they suck that bad..I'll ditch em.

If you're not worried about performance, can't really go wrong for $12.50/tire...

An STI guy is selling a "like new" set because they were "too noisy"... not exactly a stellar review, but for $50 why not.
