Question About SVT Rim

I have some quick questions. Since the SVT rims are on sale for 98 im probably going to order a set of four. Are the SVT rims good rims for the money? Im also going to pair them up with the Fuzion ZRi tires. I also have a roush drop so will I see any problems with rubbing? O about how much does a shop charge for puting tires on rims and balancing all four?

Which SVT rims? There's several kinds. Install and balancing around here is 12.50 to 15.00 per tire. SVT wheel have a good offset (usually 49mm) so they should work well with modest drops and reasonable sized tires (215 aspect ratio or thereabouts). The SVT/Ford racing Euro rally wheels have proven very durable. There's been a few complaints about SVT thin five spokes breaking. I'm not aware of the conditions that happened or whether they were being abused or not.

I wanted to buy the 2003 five spoke. I love the Euro Rally Wheels but I just dont think it will look good on a CD Silver Sedan. Do you?

That is rare from what I understand. Ford made them heavy and tough to prevent that...If I remember correctly the euro ones are 17lbs a pop..

NEways, I would go for it, the 5 spokes on my GF SVT seem to have taken a beating and are fine. I would stay away from the Fuzion tires. My GF has a set on her SVT and I don't like them at all. they are really noisy and last night I was sliding all over the place in the rain, and not even driving that hard...but that is up to you..

I would deff get the wheels

well i have the stock SVT rims on mine never had any problems with them and if any of you know how the roads are in Dallas than you'll know their are plenty of pot holes and i never have bent mine. as for the Fuzion tires don't get them they are crap. i had them on mine for a year and in that time it wore down to the steel belts and i had to replace them 400$ down the drain, and that was daily driving on them and rotating them regularly. i now have cooper and love the hell out of them great tires for close to the same price.

Any of those mentioned would be stellar on any focus. I have 10 of the 5 spoke 5 black and 5 silver with one of each bent from pot holes. i am planning to buy a set of euro and selling my plain silver, then painting the euros bright silver. All of the wheels are cheap for the focus. so go for it!
