Front Strut Bar

Has anyone installed these that needed to remove and then re-install their air box because that bar was hitting it or anything else? Aren't these things just suppose to drop in place after you remove the strut bolts?

I read the install how to but just tried to lay the bar in place where it might go but it looked like I might need to remove and put back a few things.

Other tips or thoughts would be great. As always - thanks guys!

Do you know where yours came from Klondike? Focus Sport, Focus Central, etc.?

Anyone had a problem mounting theirs?

I have a FocusSport bar, and it's super close to the master cylinder, and it barely touches an electrical connector in that region. I had to jack up the front end to unload the suspension so the towers could pull apart to get it to fit. The studs were about 1/8in. too close with the car on the ground.

I just bought one on here and I think it is a Focus Central bar. Its hitting the fuse box and looks like I am going to have to remove the air box to install it.

I assume everyone who has installed one of these really likes them?

Our Focus Central bar bolted into our 03 ZX3 with no interference issues and without removing or adjusting any other parts. It fit snuggly around the filter air box but as I said no adjustments were needed.

I like my bar, it's good to lean on when under the hood.
