hey welcome to FF! I've always liked those rims, i think they are a knock off from another brand which they call them"unknowns". I bought adr rims off ebay for my old vw about 2 years back. They were shipped great and no problems with quality at all. I thought they were great for the price.

I would stay away from ADR, but that's my opinion based on a past experience. I had a set of ADR-GTs that developed a crack in one of the wheels. And that was from hitting a pothole less than an inch deep. Also, their process of painting wheels needs a major reinvention. Another one of the wheels started to flake near the edge on one of the other wheels. I called WheelMax (online shop from whom I purchased the set) and they simply refused to take the wheels back on my claim as a manufacturing defect. WheelMax denied my story and came to the conclusion that I was running too little pressure on the tires. I fired back by telling them that they were the ones that mounted, balanced and inflated the tires when they were shipped to me, so the fault is still not mine.

All in all, in got bogarted by both parties, got stuck with two crappy wheels and told them to eat a huge shit sandwich.

Sounds like a typical wheelmax customer service story.

The hassles that I had with them were several years ago, so somewhere down the line I would assume that the service has developed.
