Control arm / bushings

Hey guys, my car is making a really loud creeking sound when i take cornners and bumps. After lots of searching and jouncing... I narrowed it down to a front left control arm bushing. Far as I can tell, the control arm is just fine and its just a dry bushing (dosent even look cracked).
So my question is, are there any "better than stock" control arms out there that I have not found yet? and if so are they worthwhile to spend the $$$ on em? If not, i was thinking about getting the FS polyeurethane (sp, its late lol) control arm bushing kit. Has anyone purchased one of these from focusport before? Id like to find out just how many bushings there are on the control arm and if this kit would replace ALL of them.
looks like there are 3 on each control arm to me, one by the wheel, and 2 twords the engine. ( im thinking its the front left wheel rear/engine side bushing that is delinquent here.
if there is only 3 bushings on each of the front contol arms and the kit replaces all 6, then i think i will go ahead and buy em. anyone have any experience in this? if not then ill just shoot randy an email...

This belongs in the suspension forum.

There are two bushings on each control arm. It looks like 3, but 2 of them are actually just 1 split in half. There is no bushing by the wheel.

Have fun installing these. Its a real pain in the arse to remove the old ones. Drill, knives, and a oxy-acetlyne torch is what you'll need. (propane isn't hot enough)

Hu, never even noticed that we had a suspension forum lol! undercarriage is not my cup of tea...
The FS website says that for the front control arm bushings youll only need a socket wrench and 5 min to install... the rears look more involved though. well thanks for the reply egz, anyone buy these and have an onpinion on them?

LOL, definately not a 5 minute job. I'm not sure where they got that info from. Took me at least an hour. 95% of the labor is removing the old bushing. I'll let others chime in on their experiences.
