I just have to say that it has been happening since the car was invented. It will always happen. I mess with people but never really race in an agreed race or what not. If I want to race, I'll take it to a track.

Street racing..........

I think people do it just for the rush, I did once.......
now my insurance rates are just comeing back down.
6 tickets are as follows,
1.) speeding in excess of 130 mph
2.) speeding
3.) road racing - speed contest
4.) speeding
5.) street racing - vehicle impounded 30 days - cost 2,000 (impound fees)
6.) speeding

that was when I was 17 years old...... i'm 22 now and Have a family and reolized how STUPID
I was for racing on the street, yea it's ok to play around but after a certain point it gets stupid.

BE SAFE AND TAKE IT TO THE TRACK :0)
If you like to race on the streets then go to an auto x track
if you like to drag race go to the drag strip

You don't get a ticket for going 130+ miles an hour. You go to jail. Its involuntary manslaughter.

What a Giant piece of feelgood fluff....." If I die...I die",..." But for those ten seconds or less I'm free"...sound familiar, none of these 40 something news reporters or the father with the stang have ever run it up to 100 on the street, yeah right, I'm sure that reporter never ran his 73 nova down the road when he was 18...Now all we need is a story on how guns are killing innocent drug dealers and then one on the evils of the deadly 4 wheeler or dirtbike....I hate shlock journalism !!..
Sorry to get on my soapbox, but the only difference is that today some people don't do this stuff in the right time and place ie. dragracing with a crowd of people around, and I blame hollywood for making that seem trendy...when we race on the racetrack the speed is still there , just not all the stupid people around, oh yeah, and the ones who love to race when messed up ( drunk etc..)...........sorry rant over, I am rambling.

6 Tickets?

I'm glad you have cleaned up your act... you are right, that's stupidity. You gotta figure all the times you didnt get a ticket when you should have... that adds up to one lucky SOB who didn't kill anyone.
