My first 1/4 run with the '07 ST

Here it is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhP4JT86Sss

My best run (out of 4) was 16.1 @ 85.1 mph.
Yeah, not the greatest, but it was a tad warm that day and I think I shifted too late (above 6000rpm).

Cheers

I'm gonna have to go back...
Some say I should be in the 15's (15.6 to be exact) @ about 88-89 mph.
I know not every car is made the same, so I don't realy mind that I'm 2-3 mph slower. The track where I ran might be higher up in elevation compared to others which would explain the drop in performance, I guess.

Anyhoo, it was fun and I'll be going back for sure ;)

The more you race it the faster you should get as you get used to launching the the proper rpm shifting at the right revs . What kind of burnout are you doing? Whats your 60ft time? Those can make a big difference.

At least you didn't get beat by that green escort s/w Lol..

My best 60ft time was 2.4 seconds. My worst was almost 2.6.
No burnout, just quick clean of tires before staging. Factoru P6's still on the car.
There is a big show of jet cars at the track this weekend with regular program. My gf wants to go see the fuelies and said I should run my car again.
Damn I love her :) ... Now, if I can only convince her on buying me that Focus Sport stage 2 Turbo :P

I ran my best 1/4 mile time and speed last Saturday night (October 8th).
Here are my runs in order:

- 15.944 @ 86.819 (2.352 60ft)
- 15.724 @ 87.170 (2.399 60ft)
- 15.700 @ 85.544 (2.329 60ft)
- 15.728 @ 87.425 (2.411 60ft)
- 15.758 @ 87.599 (2.411 60ft)
- 15.805 @ 87.682 (2.453 60ft)

I love my ST. I might of bean able to get a 15.5 if my 60ft would have been better.
Time to go get a dyno to get a baseline then let the modding begin!

Cheers
