Borla exhaust for SVT

Has anyone done the exhaust on their own SVT Focus? If so, was it difficult to do, and how long did it take? Was it worth the extra effort and where did you purchase it from. I was looking at borla, any suggestions?

I have had three different exhaust on mine and Borla BY FAR is the best. I work for Ford and Ford Racing and bought mine through work. I have NEVER regretted the Borla.

Ah man.
First off...

Second off...
The SEARCH button is your friend:
Search Results for "Borla AND Exhaust" in the "SVT Performance Chat" forums.

I'm only saving you from the rash of similar responses to come.
Happy reading.
Borla is a good choice.

Just remember one thing:
Sound is the only change you're going to get from a CAT-Back system.
Power gains are minimal at best...in the 1-2hp range.
That's one thing they got right on our cars.

Well said Doug. The exhaust on the svt is finely tuned and very hard to beat, you will get mostly dound so choose what sounds the best to you, i choose the Borla after hearing many others.

^^^ I'm sure you'll catch hell from the tree huggers for that b16. I always seem to whenever I mention my long tube header or whatever...

Thanks guys. I was leaning towards the Borla, you guys just made my decision a bit easier. I know I won't be gaining many ponies, I'm not in a Focus for outstanding HP numbers, that's what my mustang and nova are for, I just want a deeper, more intimidating sound. Well, as intimidating as 4 cylinders will get you. I don't want a ricer though. ::shudders::

I know you Borla guys are true blue, and yes Borla is a good exhaust set-up but, the $259. I spent for my MBRP was well worth it IMO. It really is a mean sounding exhaust on my SVTF. Especially now with my JRSC... might be too loud for some but, personally I think it's a great sounding exhaust. Just another point of view.
