Clutch Master Cylinder & DSI Clip Problem (& Solution)

Can somone tell me where i can get a FSVT master cylinder. Mine is leaking onto my clutch pedal, and i reads that this is relativly common. This makes me mad as i understant that brake fluid is corrosive I called some part shope around here (Edmonton, Alberta) and they said its a dealer part. Dealer wants $220 for the part. That is poo i think. Thier total to replace the part including labour is $450 CAD. Which is poo as well.

I have done searches on ebay and google for the part and results very limited. Since this is a common problem there I would think there would be outlets that this can be purchaced for much less than the dealer.

When it rains it pours!!!

My DSI clip went this week(the telltale whirr click whirr click under the air box) as well but i found a Superb replacement from Central Florida Motorsports. They make a billet fully metal replacement clip. So no need to replace with stock crap it cost me about $45 CAD including shipping from thier ebay auction. ($10 less than thier website BTW) Thats a low cost IMO to never have to deal with the clip breaking again.

this post "How To" Broken DSI Clip Fix is INVALUABLE if you have the same problem, but it is only a temp fix.

Humm whats gonna break next. Should i just by a stage 3 clutch in anticipation of the inevitable??

It sure is hard not to punish my car on the mean streets of E-Town. My girl is really building up he neck muscels because of me. She's like the angel on my right shoulder. "You don't want to get a speeding ticket, do you......." Meh!
